Painting With Light

Considering the different patterns/textures of the light, I can infer that the photographer included various types of light sources to achieve this result. With a completely still subject, the chef, another individual would have probably been given enough time to distribute and spread the light all throughout the scene. I find this specific picture very eye-catching, because it helps explain the chaos and action found within the kitchen. With the movement of the light, viewers can understand the tedious process of cooking and how it requires one’s full focus and movement. Not only that, but the use of green light helps set the mood of the picture, making the picture that much more interesting.
